I am heading off to Madrid in a week, where I will be teaching English as a foreign language for 6 months with HandsOnTEFL.

Since November I have been making videos as part of the BookTube community, and it has been the most wonderful experience.

I do plan on keeping up with these videos, but they will not be as frequent, as I will be unbelievably busy in Madrid.

So, as a thank you to the Community, I have hosted a DOUBLE GIVEAWAY!

What book would you like to win?

Perfectly Broken by Prescott Lane Book Blitz

Perfectly Broken

by Prescott Lane

Published March 2014
Genres: Adult / Contemporary / Romance
Check it out on Goodreads

Even after years of trauma therapy, Peyton still believes she’s broken.  She has little desire to date or show off her natural beauty, content simply to hang out with her best friends and run her pie shop in New Orleans.  But her world turns upside-down when a handsome architect and self-confessed player shows up in her shop and thinks she’s perfect, much more than the usual hook-up.  While Peyton does her best to resist his charms, believing she could never be enough for him, she can’t deny the obvious heat between them.

With Reed determined to have her, Peyton must decide whether to continue to hide behind her apron and baggy clothes or take a chance and share her scars with Reed, a man with a playboy reputation and scars of his own — a dark past he can’t possibly share with Peyton, not after learning the horrors she’s endured.  But if they can find a way to trust each other, and themselves, they just might be able to heal, to save each other, to live perfectly broken together.

Citadel by Kate Mosse - Review, Interview, and Giveaway!

by Kate Mosse

Published October 25th 2012
Genres: Historical Fiction
Check it out on Goodreads

From the internationally bestselling author of Labyrinth and Sepulchre comes a thrilling novel, set in the South of France during World War II, that interweaves history and legend, love and conflict, passion and adventure, bringing to life brave women of the French Resistance and a secret they must protect from the Nazis. In Carcassonne, a colorful historic village nestled deep in the Pyrenees, a group of courageous and determined operatives are engaged in a lethal battle. Like their ancestors who fought to protect their land from Northern invaders seven hundred years before, these women—codenamed Citadel—fight to liberate their home from the Germans.
But smuggling refugees over the mountains into neutral territory and sabotaging their Nazi occupiers is only part of their mission. These members of the resistance must also protect an ancient secret that, if discovered by the enemy, could change the course of history.

A superb blend of rugged action and haunting mystery based on real-life figures, Citadel is a vivid and richly atmospheric story of a group of heroic women who dared the odds to survive.

Jennifer Ibarra: Honoring a Hero

Recently I took part in a book tour over at Expresso Book Tours; The Polaris Uprising by Jennifer Ibarra.
I absolutely loved it, and, as well as writing a review and talking about it in a video on my youtube channel, I contacted Jennifer to let her know just how much I loved it.
Now she has contacted me to tell me about a charity she is fundraising for, asking me if I would check it out. I read her post and I want to share it with you. Please take a moment to read it and share it with your friends. If possible, I hope you invest in her book as well. Then you can take pleasure in a good read with the knowledge you contributed to a good cause.
